For those curious about seeing what CCHS has to offer, both as a space and a community, here are a few quick updates on what’s been happening:

For the moment, all our Tuesday night sessions are members only. We’re doing this to make sure that all the members who supported us during lock-down can get all that built up hacking energy out of their system and fabricate their quarantine contraptions. It also gives our members a chance to catch up with more familiar – albeit masked – faces.

Furthermore, Tuesday nights aren’t really ‘learn to solder’ nights anymore, at least in an official capacity. That being said, on any of our general session nights we’re more than happy to help teach you the ropes. Who knows, we might even delay the inevitable discovery of “oh so that’s what cooked me smells like”. Don’t worry, with a little guidance you’ll nail it.

This site has been a bit neglected the last few years, but there are plans to change that over the next few months. Will those plans come to fruition? Not sure, but we’ll give it a good try.

For the most recent announcements/updates, be sure to join the Hack-Vic Discord. Hack-Vic is for broader hacker community, so even if you’re not planning to visit CCHS, or you’re already a member of another space, we’d love you to join in on the discussion!

If have any more questions about the space, feel free to drop into the #cchs-community Discord channel.
