[edit] Supplier Recommendations

[Mitch] I ordered some XBee sockets from Little Bird. They arrived two days later (including public holiday) in a nice Ikea container, and some extra sockets. I feel looked after.

[edit] Getting Started

To get started with Arduino, I picked up an Arduino Duemilanove from Little Bird. I also ordered a proto-shield. Little Bird sell the AdaFruit proto-shield. I also considered SparkFun who have their own version and also sell mini-breadboards that fit nicely on top.

[edit] Sourcing Sparkfun parts

A lot of Little Bird stock is from Sparkfun, so if Little Bird don’t have it in stock and you need it, you might consider ordering direct from SparkFun.
