[edit] Introduction

Starting on the 16th of January 2012, there is a conference being held in Ballarat. As part of this conference, there will be a miniconf featuring Arduino hardware and software.

As part of the Arduino Miniconf, you will have the chance to build a hardware device. This includes learning to solder and writing code for the hardware in the Arduino IDE environment. The code is vaguely similar to C but is simplified, so no memory management or pointers!
